Remy and Amaury, two childhood friends from Annecy, France, came up with the idea of Barjo in 2024— a sandwich shop that reflects their values and shared passion for good food, connecting with people, and enjoying every moment of life.
While traveling through Australia and Asia, they noticed that French food was often seen as a fine dining experience—elegant but inaccessible. Inspired to change this perception, they decided to use their fine dining background to create something more approachable, designed for everyone to enjoy.
At just 25 years old, they left everything behind in France to move to Arizona and start their food truck.
Barjo was born from their desire to offer healthy, tasty meals of uncompromized quality to as many people as possible through simple, relatable food.
Almost everything you find at Barjo is made in-house and it’s our guarantee that everything is made fresh daily. We work with local small businesses and suppliers, e.g., local bakeries, to support the local economy.
We prepare everything from scratch using fresh ingredients, ensuring each bite is full of flavor and authenticity.
